India: Russian 6000 NAR coal sold at INR 17,100/t at Gopalpur Port

In a confirmed deal, 4,000 t of Russian 6000 NAR (60% FC) was booked at INR 17,100/t at Gopalpur Port. The freight up to Rourkela is heard at INR 1,400-1,500/t. High-CV and high carbon Russian coal continue to remain cost-competitive over mid-CV South African 5500 NAR grade coal prices which are currently assessed at INR 17,000/t at Vizag Port.
