Bulk volume of Russian 6000 NAR (with 60% FC) grade coal has been booked at $198/t CIF Haldia for end-October delivery, while another deal of the similar grade has been booked at $192/t CIF Paradip. Prices of Russian high-CV coal have risen from a tight range of $187-190/t CIF India last month amid strong demand for the grade among DRI manufacturers.
