A total of 25,000 t of Russian 6000 NAR grade coal was booked at $194/t CIF India basis. The vessel is set to arrive at Paradip Port next month. Amid rising demand for Russian coal in the Indian market, portside prices of the grade are at INR 16,500/t. Elevated prices of South African and Australian coal have compelled Indian steel and power units to use more Russian coal in blending.
