Odisha’s largest merchant miner namely Rungta Mines has rolled over Iron ore prices.
Rungta Mines has rolled over Iron ore prices, which it had reduced by INR 300/MT and INR 400/MT from its Odisha & Jharkhand mines respectively on 10 Jan, 2015.
Earlier this month, the miner had been granted permission to enhance Iron ore production at its Oraghat mines to 5 MnT from 1.94 MnT and at its Sanindpur mines from 1.65 to 4.5 MnT.

At present, Serajuddin Mines is offering Fe 63% (5-18 mm) Iron ore at INR 5,950/MT and fines of similar grade at INR 3,050/MT (including royalty). Another major miner namely Indrani Patnaik is offering the material only within Odisha.
