Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state owned steel company at Visakhapatnam also known as Vizag Steel Plant (VSP), invites bid for purchase of Iron ore Fines and Iron ore Lumps through Global Tender at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria:
Established Iron ore mining agencies /producer(s) owning, managing and controlling Iron ore mines and producing Iron ore Fines and Iron ore Lumps
(Or)
Established Iron ore Fines/Iron Ore Lumps suppliers offering Iron ore Fines / Iron ore
Lumps duly backed by a Letter of Authority (in original) of the concerned Iron ore mining
agency, specifically authorizing the said Iron ore Fines/Iron ore Lumps supplier to make an offer in response to this invitation to tender.
Chemical Specifications & Quantity:
1. Iron ore Fines:
- Fe: 62%
- Size: (-) 10 mm
Quantity: 100,000 Metric Tonnes (MT)
2. Iron ore Lumps:
- Fe: 63%
- Size: (-) 150 mm to (+) 10 mm
Quantity: 100,000 MT
Total Quantity: 200,000 MT
Delivery: The delivery shall be at the rate of one shipment of parcel size: 50,000 MT +/- 5% per month in case of supplies from imported sources and indigenous source by sea per 12 rakes in one lot per month in case of supplies from indigenous sources by rail.
