RINL’s Vizag Steel Plant successfully sold 2,310 tonnes (t) of crude coal tar in its 22 Oct’25 auction at a weighted average price of INR 32,500/t ex-works. Prices dropped by INR 4,550/t from the previous auction on 10 Sep where 1,260 t was sold at INR 37,050/t. Notably, the three earlier auctions (9, 13, and 15 Oct) saw no bids amid high base prices.
