Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has issued a purchase tender to procure 1,560 t of ferro silicon (Si:70% min, 25-50 mm) for its Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The bid submission deadline is 4 May ’26 and delivery is scheduled within 127 days from the date of the purchase order. BigMint assessed ferro silicon prices (Si:70%, 25-150 mm) at INR 107,500/t ($1,151/t) ex-Guwahati on 20 Apr’26.
