India’s rebars production stood at 3.17 mnt in Nov’22, up 2% from 3.10 mnt a month ago, as per Joint Plant Committee (JPC) data. Production rose by 11% y-o-y as against 2.85 mnt in Nov’21. RINL’s output increased 20% m-o-m in Nov’22, while JSW Steel and SAIL’s output were down by 8% and 7% m-o-m respectively in Nov’22. Also, JSPL and Tata Steel’s output edged lower by 3% and 1% respectively during the month.
