India: Rebars prices rise by INR 500/t on active buying in Raipur

Induction furnace-route rebars prices increased by INR 500/t to INR 49,500/t (10-25mm) in central India-based Raipur market.
Around 5,300t of confirmed deals recorded by SteelMint in the price range of INR 49,100-49,700/t in today’s trading window.
Market participants informed that enhancement in steel billets and sponge iron prices amidst active buying inquiries and trades kept prices supported in the spot market.
