India’s rebars production stood at 3.10 mnt in Oct’22, up 9% from 2.84 mnt a month ago, as per Joint Plant Committee (JPC) data. Production increased by 24% y-o-y as against 2.50 mnt in Oct’21. JSPL’s output rose sharply by 93% m-o-m. Likewise, RINL and JSW Steel’s output were up by 39% and 16% m-o-m, respectively in Oct’22. SAIL and Tata Steel’s production also rose by 13% and 2%, respectively during the month.
