India’s rebar production remained largely stable at 3.09 mnt in Jan’22 compared to 3.10 mnt in Dec’21, as per Joint Plant Committee (JPC) data. On an annualised basis, the same rose 7% against 2.89 mnt in CPLY. Production volumes of major primary mills except RINL saw an increase. RINL’s production volumes stood at 0.15 mnt, down 5% due to delayed coking coal supplies and scheduled maintenance.
