Domestic rebar prices increased today by INR 200-800/t across major locations except in a few markets in western India. Rise in steel billet prices lent support to rebar producers who increased prices. However, year-end holidays impacted bulk transactions in the spot market today and limited buying enquiries and trades were observed in most markets.
