Domestic rebar prices rose today by up to INR 800/t across different regions in India. Moderate buying enquiries and transactions in rebar and strengthening billet prices supported a hike in rebar prices in the spot market. However, traders are still cautious about bulk procurements on higher prices owing to the uncertainty in raw material price trends.
