Domestic rebar prices strengthened for the second consecutive day across regions with a sharp hike of INR 300-1,200/t, d-o-d, SteelMint assessment shows. Prices increased on the back of rising raw material prices and active trade enquiries. Rebar prices in the near term are expected to remain supported, especially in the western region. At other locations, minor changes are expected depending on semi-finished steel prices.
