Indian rebar prices in the secondary market have increased by INR 100-600/t d-o-d in most of the major supplying regions. The current trade price for 12 mm rebar is assessed at INR 35,000/t Raipur, INR 37,900/t Jalna exw. Improved buying inquiries and trade activity in the market along with increasing raw material costs led to an increase in rebar offers.
