Induction furnace rebar prices declined in the broad range of INR 100-900/t d-o-d in most major markets except at a few locations in the southern and western regions of the country. A sharp fall in prices of semi-finished steel led to weakening of buying enquiries and trades in the rebar segment, which resulted in a fall in prices in the spot market today.
