India: Rebar prices climb by INR 1,400/t on active buying in Raipur

Induction furnace-route rebars prices increased by INR 1,400/t ($17) d-o-d in Raipur, central India, following improved trades.
Around 7,900t transactions recorded in the price range of INR 47,300-47,500/t in today’s session.
Trade participants informed that due to surge in sponge iron and steel billets prices, rebars prices were strengthened amidst active trades in the spot market.
