India: Rebar manufacturers raise gauge parity by INR 500/t in Jalna

Jalna, western India-based rebar manufacturers have revised the gauge parity, as per sources. Gauge differences have been increased by INR 500/t with effect from 20 Oct’22 for all sizes. The current gauge difference for 10-25 mm rebar stands at INR 4,000/t and for 8 and 32 mm at INR 5,000/t. Notably, Jalna is a major rebar manufacturing hub, with daily production capacity standing at over 10,000 t.
