Raipur, Chhattisgarh-based Real Ispat & Power Ltd. (GK TMT) slashed rebar prices by INR 1,000/t on 16 Nov’21. Current offers for 10-25 mm rebar (Fe 500D) are at INR 49,500/t exw. Lack of demand in the spot market as well as a sharp decline in ingot and billet prices led to a drop in rebar prices, SteelMint learnt from sources.
