Induction furnace re-bar prices increased today by INR 100-600/t in the key markets, SteelMint assessment shows. Rising semi-finished steel prices and improvement in buying enquiries and transactions for re-bar steel in the spot market offered the necessary support to manufacturers to increase offers. Prices in the near term are expected to remain supported owing to higher raw material costs, SteelMint notes.
