India: Re-bar Market has shown a mixed trend in last week

Indian Re-bar market in North India remains firm whereas in Western India price corrected by Rs 700-1000/MT on W-o-W basis.

At Mandi Gobindgarh and Durgapur 12mm TMT is traded at Rs 36,500/MT and Rs 42,800/MT respectively same as per last week prices. In the same period, TMT of Raipur come down by Rs 200/MT due to lack of demand. 12mm TMT is traded at Rs 36,600/MT. Prices Inclusive of VAT. Its been learned that major producer in Raipur can open the price down by Rs 300-500/MT to book the sale today as overall booking was low last week. 

In Maharashtra, finished steel market went down by Rs 700-1,000/MT in a week time. 12mm is trading at Rs 38,500/MT in Mumbai less by Rs 700/MT and at Rs 38,800/MT in Jalna less by Rs 1,000/MT due to low demand as monsoon hamper the construction activity. Prices Inclusive of VAT.

In the contrary Gujarat, Hyderabad and Jaipur Finish long market inched up by Rs 200-300/MT as raw material prices increases.
