South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal portside offers are up today INR 6200/t ex-Gangavaram amid rise in API4 index and drop of 6.5% w-o-w basis in stock at Gangavaram port at 2.60mn t. Deals were heard to be concluded in the range of INR 5,700-5,800/t till last Saturday. However, major traders are now not willing to sell below INR 6,000/t, but old cargoes are still being offered at 5,600/t.
