South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal prices fell to INR 6,350/t ex-Gangavaram today due to reduced bids from sponge manufacturers. With rising restrictions across various states demand for RB2 coal has turned quiet and capacity utilisation levels have dropped. RB2 offers at Vizag port were assessed at INR 6,800/t while no trades have been confirmed yet.
