India: Raipur wire rods market sees limited trade despite lower offers, higher discounts

Raipur, Chhattisgarh-based steel wire rods manufacturers lowered their offers today by INR 500/t to INR 46,500/t exw. However, despite lower offers and attractive discounts of over INR 1,500/t, trade remained weak with only 1,600-1,700 t of deals concluding at INR 44,600-45,000/t exw. In Durgapur market, trade reference prices stood at INR 44,800-45,000/t exw.
