Steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur (central India) continued to see lack of trades and transactions in the spot market due to higher prices. This compelled them to lower their offers further by INR 1,500/t to INR 63,000/t d-o-d on 14 Mar’22. Weak sentiments and fall in semi-finished steel prices kept trading activity dull. Resellers offered trade discounts at over INR 3,000/t, sources told SteelMint.
