Following the price correction in billets, sponge iron trade remained limited today. SteelMint’s assessment for Raipur sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) fell by INR 150/t to INR 30,400/t exw.
- A few bids and P-DRI deals were reported at INR 30,300-30,400/t against offers at INR 30,500-30,700/t on exw and FOR Raipur basis. Major plants stayed out of the market due to sufficient orders and bearish trends.
