SteelMint’s assessment for pellet-based DRI (P-DRI, FeM 80%) is stable today at INR 30,500/t exw-Raipur. Prices stayed strong on rise in billet offers amidst balanced supply-demand, with a few kilns on shutdown.
- About 3,000 t of P-DRI (FeM 79-80%) deals were confirmed at INR 30,300-30,500/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
- 2,000 t of DR-CLO grade sponge iron was traded at INR 33,600-700/t exw.
