India: Raipur sponge iron prices climb tracking hike in billets

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 1,300/t to INR 37,500/t exw-Raipur on account of active demand and increasing billets prices.
About 5,500 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 36,900-37,300/t against offers of INR 37,500-38,000/t on exw and DAP Raipur.
2,000 t DR CLO grade sponge was traded at INR 40,400-41,000/t versus offers of INR 41,500-42,000/t exw-Raipur.
