- Domestic mill scale prices are assessed at INR 4,300/t exw-Raipur, up INR 400/t as against INR 3,900/t exw on 16 July. A deal of 1,000 t was reportedly concluded at INR 6,800/t FOR, Kharagpur. Few offers were even heard at around INR 5,000/t exw-Raipur levels.
- Tight material availability and supported pellet offers pushed up mill scale offers.
- The current assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) stands at INR 5,450/t DAP Kandla, stable since 16 July.
