India: Raipur mill scale prices inch down in recent deals

Domestic mill scale prices have decreased on declining iron ore and pellet prices this week amid limited buying, SteelMint learnt from sources.

• The current assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) in central India stands at INR 6,850/t exw-Raipur – down INR 100/t.
• Around 700 t of mill scale was sold at INR 6,800/t exw.
• Market participants expect prices to fall further in the near term.
