India: Raipur based re-rollers increase rebar offer by up to INR 1,200/t ($17)

Mid-scale rolling mills in Raipur, Chhattisgarh have increased rebar offers by up to INR 1,200/t on a d-o-d basis. Current offer for 10-25mm rebar stands at INR 43,000-43,600/t, depending on the brands. Prices have increased owing to strengthening raw material prices along with improved bookings for specific terms, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
