A few Raipur, central India based ERW pipe mills have concluded patra export deals to Nepal on good margins. The deals were concluded last week at around $625-630/t (loaded to rake), equivalent to $660/t CPT Nepal. Further, the fresh indicative price is reported at around $645/t (up $15-20/t) loaded to rake. The more deals seem to be settled soon as HR coil prices are quite higher, as per trade sources. The HR coil indicative export price to Nepal through the primary mills is reported at $800/t (loaded to rake) in eastern India.
