SteelMint in conversation with market participants learned that Raipur (central India) based pellet manufacturers have decreased their offers by INR 200/MT today (i.e 29th Aug’19). Current offers for Fe 63% grade stands at INR 6,000/MT (ex-Raipur, GST extra) as against last assessment at INR 6,200/MT. Limited trades were reported at last offers of INR 6,200/MT (ex-Raipur).
Last week NMDC lowered iron ore fines and lumps price by INR 200/MT and INR 230/MT in DRCLO.
As per the sources, major Raipur based pellet maker has taken maintenance shutdown and may start offering in the market from 10th Sept.
Current P-DRI prices in Raipur increased by INR 1,000/MT W-o-W to 16,200-16,300/MT (ex-Raipur) against INR 15,300/MT a week ago.
