Structural steel manufacturers in Raipur – one of the major heavy structural steel supply markets in Central India, have increased their offer by INR 700/t. The current offer for 150 mm Channel stands at INR 43,000/t exw. Increasing raw material (sponge iron) cost and semi-finished steel (billet) prices along with moderate buying inquiries in structural steel supported the price hike, trade sources reported to SteelMint.
