India: Rail Wheel Factory issues tender for supply of motors, steel blooms, MS tubes

Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Yelahanka, Bangalore, has floated Tender Notice No. RWF/S/P1/008/2025-26, dated 20 Aug’25, for the supply of multiple items. The tender covers the following quantities:
Geared motors — 43 sets
Steel blooms (300 mm sq R16) — 114,097 t
Steel blooms (300 mm sq LHB) — 12,944 t
MS tubes (black medium grade, length – 6 m) — 88,636 t

The deadline for submission is 4 Sep-10 Dec’25, with participation through the IREPS portal.
