R. Praveen Chandra had conducted an auction for 19,250 t of lumps from Chitradurga district in Karnataka on 2 Aug’24. According to sources, 11,550 t of lumps (6-30 mm, Fe 54.60%) got booked at the base price of INR 4,100/t while 7,700 t (6-30 mm, Fe 59.50%) at base price of INR 5,575/t remained unsold. Prices are inclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
