The Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL) has released a re-notification in regard to resumption of operations for industries, particularly those located in the central and border zones in the state, from 2 pm of 12 Jul’21 to till 8 am of 15 Jul’21, thanks to the arrival of monsoons amidst improved power availability. Earlier, the power resumption had been made applicable till 8 am of 13 Jul’21. However, any fresh notification is yet to be released about the weekly shutdowns, as per sources.
