Wires prices increased in India by primary & secondary manufacturers. RINL increased Wire Rod offers by INR 600/MT for Feb’14, while it raised by INR 800-1,800/MT M-o-M by secondary manufacturers.
RINL, an Indian government-owned steel producer (Visakhapatnam) has raised its Wire Rod offers by INR 600/MT.

In secondary, Durgapur Wires prices jumped by INR 1,800-1,900/MT in a month’s time owing to shortage of materials, whereas Raipur offers moved up by INR 800-900/MT on an average demand.
A native Wire Rod trader in Durgapur said, “Wire prices increased in good accent from past few days in the city. Wire Rod prices have risen by 5% M-o-M because of low availability but buying interest is normal.”
