Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) held an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 4 Mar’22 from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) in West Bengal. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 53,900/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 7,200/t in comparison with the previous auction on 4 Feb.
