Prakash Industries has been granted approval for the mining lease in Kawardha, Chhattisgarh for 50 years from the Mineral Resources Department of the state govt, the company highlighted in its recent BSE filing. The mine is spread across 274.896 hectares and has EC limit of 2 mn t pa. The company has a 1.2 mn t integrated steel plant in Chhattisgarh.
