India: Power tariffs rise for ferro alloys units in Meghalaya

In a recent notification, the Meghalaya State Electricity Regulatory Commission (MSERC) announced a hike in electricity tariffs for the ferro alloys industry. For the high tension category, tariffs surged by INR 1.47/kVah to INR 6.47/kVah. With most plants producing ferro silicon, prices may be impacted in the days ahead.
