The Ministry of Power has nominated NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam, PFC Consulting and REC Power Development as bid coordinators for the proposed scheme involving substitution of thermal energy with renewables under flexibility in generating and scheduling of thermal/hydro power stations. These parties would evaluate the bids derived from the tariff-based bidding process initiated by the power generating company for setting up a renewable energy power plant.
