According to market sources report to SteelMint, POSCO Maharashtra has further raised CRC export offers by USD 30-40/MT for Apr’17 shipments. It is to be noted that the exporter is already booked till Mar’17.
Indian CRC export offers have increased and are hovering in the range of USD 630-640/MT, FoB India for Apr’17 shipments against last assessment of USD 590-600/MT, FoB. However no deals were heard to be concluded at increased offers.
Export offers from other manufacturers were also heard in the same range of USD 630-640/MT, FoB.
Major South Korean steel mills to hike steel prices – As per reports, South Korean steel mills – POSCO and Hyundai steel are likely to hike flat steel prices amid increase in raw material cost.
Chinese CRC export offers fall amid thin trading – Chinese CRC (1.0mm SPCC) export offers have come down by USD 15/MT W-o-W to USD 580-590/MT, FoB. Offers have fallen amid weakening domestic market.
