India: Portside South African RB3 traded at INR 14,500/t at Vizag

In a confirmed deal, 1,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 14,500/t at Vizag Port, while another deal of RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) was heard to have been concluded at INR 17,500/t at Paradip Port. Sponge iron manufacturers continue to procure RB3 grade coal in small parcels for blending due to its relatively cheaper prices.
