India: Portside South African RB3 prices fall to INR 15,200/t at Vizag Port

In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 15,200/t at Vizag Port, down by INR 300/t w-o-w. Prices of mid-CV RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) was at INR 17,500/t. The fall in portside South African prices comes amid easing imported prices and lower procurement demand from sponge iron manufacturers.
