India’s portside prices of South African thermal coal were largely stable this week. RB2 (5500 NAR) was assessed at INR 9,500/t and RB3 (4800 NAR) at INR 7,600/t ex-Gangavaram. The market is facing downward pressure due to subdued trading activity and resistance from buyers to the rise in prices.
