Amid lower enquiries from sponge iron manufacturers and falling coal import prices, the average portside price of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal has further declined to INR 11,000/t at Gangavaram port against INR 13,500/t on 1 Nov’21. South African RB1 (6000 NAR) grade coal price is currently assessed at $121/t, down $26 in the last two days.
