Indonesian 5000 GAR coal prices have risen to INR 11,000/t ex-Gangavaram, while 4200 GAR coal prices are at 8,800/t, excluding cess and GST. Strong buying appetite lifted prices amid apprehension of delayed vessel arrivals in the coming week. Despite the Indonesian government revoking the coal export ban, traders expect prices to remain high due to uncertainty about backlogs related to the old contracts.
