Amid the declining trend in imported Indonesian coal prices, portside prices of 4200 kcal/kg NAR have also fallen by INR 1,000/t m-o-m to INR 8,400/t at Kandla Port. Rising domestic coal dispatches to the power sector have resulted in the decline in imported coal procurement by power producers besides the cooling down of temperature with the onset of monsoon season.
