Stockists in central India have sharply raised their offers for pig iron with recent hike in bids in SAIL’s RSP (Rourkela steel plant) pig iron auction at INR 23,700-24,800/t EXW against INR 23,000-23,300/t EXW in the previous auction. The fresh deals of steel grade pig iron are reported at INR 24,700-800/t FoR Raigarh & INR 24,800-25,000/t FoR Raipur, up by INR 700-900/t, d-o-d.
